Ińsko and its neighbourhoods are situated on the terrain of the Ińsko Landscape Park – a unique, ecologic, beautifly shaped, rich in fauna and flora area listed in the European Protective Programme – Nature 2009 – “Ińsko refuge”. (“Ostoja Ińska”).
On the terrain of 44 thousand ha one can find over 140 species of birds, including: cranes (the symbol of the park), sea eagle, aquila pomarina, storks including the black stork, numerous water fowls, over 700 species of plants (1/3 of the plants occurring in Poland) in this the unique, listed in the Polish Red List, from which we can find here mammals such as beavers and otters, and from the 18 occurring amphibians and reptiles so rare like tritons and treefrogs.
The Park is a perfect place for nature admirers.
